THE AIR I BREATHE
I finally got around to seeing this on DVD. Frist time i saw the trailer for it i was very intrigued with the concept. I was really hoping this would be a great movie and i must say it met my expectations. First of all the cast is really good, each character does the best they can with their role. Surprisingly Sarah Michelle Gellar does a decent job, probably her best work ever. Same goes with Brendan Fraser. I always found him as a bit of an over actor. But he plays this part so calm and cool that he proved himself that he can take on a serious role. But the real show stealer is Emile Hirsch. His small part was fun, effective, and probably the best part of the film. As for the actual plot, it has some good concepts and ideas but its not without it faults. Some parts of the stories seem unnecessary and drag out a little long. The end plays out very nicely. I think fans of movies that have intertwining stories, characters, and deeper meanings will enjoy it. Its worth checking out.
